Whoa! SRK and Salman may re-unite for a movie?

T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar to approach Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for special appearance in sequel to his maiden production 'Tum Bin'...

Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan extended support to Anubhav Sinha's upcoming directorial venture, Tum Bin 2, by tweeting the film's teaser as soon as it was unveiled. But, if insiders are to be believed, there's more than what meets the eye. We hear producer Bhushan Kumar plans to approach the two superstars for a special appearance in the film.

Says a source, "Bhushan donned the producer's cap for the first time with Tum Bin (2001) and it went on to become a big hit although it starred newcomers. So, he wants to make the sequel as big. Getting Shah Rukh and Salman to tweet about it was not a random request; he has bigger plans with them. He will most likely get them to do cameos."

Sinha chose to remain tight-lipped while dropping some hints. "Bhushan has ambitious plans for the film. He is close to both the Khans, so, you never know, he might just be able to pull off a coup even though it may be for a cameo."

Sinha mentions how Salman was the first "star" to congratulate him for the success of Tum Bin 15 years ago.

"He called me home and we discussed working together. But, it didn't materialise at that point. I have worked with Shah Rukh for RA.One (2011) and would like to direct Salman soon too. You never know what the future holds," he winks.

Anushka Sharma, who is riding high on the success of Sultan and currently shooting for her next, The Ring with Shah Rukh Khan has opened up about her Bollywood journey, turning down Tamasha, and her relationship in a magazine interview. Talking about turning down Imtiaz Ali's film she quoted saying, "Film people are portrayed as very petty and stupid, but its not true.

I will never say yes to a script because I'm scared to hurt someone or afraid they'll get back at me for my refusal. But i say no honestly, I don't lie about (my reasons).

You have to respect the person enough to do that and usually they'll understand." As for her personal relationships - she and Virat Kohli are dating each other - she said, "I wont hide (the relationship) behind dark car windows or use the back entrance, but I wont talk about it because it eclipses everything else I do or say." All you ardent followers of Bollywood who were thinking that battle between Kangana and Hrithik has died down then here is a "Garama Garam Khabar" for you.

Well first of all, if we go by the reports then the war between these two sought after celebs of cine-galaxy is still on. If reports are to be believed then they suggest that Hrithik's legal team has been working really hard to gather evidence against Kangana Ranaut.

When reports about the tug of war between two made it to grapevine it literally flabbergasted one and all. Then a few more rumors surfaced which suggested that the duo has settled their disputes amicably.

But now we guess the cat is once again out of the bag, after Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan recently opened up on the issue. However, latest reports suggest that the legal battle between the two is still on and Hrithik is preparing to come up with strong evidence against Kangana.

As per buzz Hrithik's legal team has been working hard to dig out evidence to expose Kangana and prove Duggu's innocence.

Reports also suggest that "While Hrithik was busy shooting for 'Kaabil', his team was burning the midnight oil gathering proofs against Kangana and deciding the next level of action. As per one of the news dailies now all the facts and documented evidence of Hrithik's innocence will be put in the public domain.

It is also pertinent to mention here that a few days back Rakesh Roshan had said that if Hrithik reveals the truth, it will shock everyone. Following which Kangana had taken a jibe at the actor and his father saying why Hrithik's father had to come to his rescue as he should be able to speak for himself.

Shiv Sena slams Salman Khan; father Salim stays mum

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday slammed film actor Salman Khan for his statement that Pakistani artistes are not terrorists. Reacting to Khan’s statement Raut said, “Salim Khan is a true Indian. But, Salman has not learned anything from his father, it seems. Salman keeps getting his father and other family members in trouble by making controversial statements. Salim Khan senior should lock Salman at home to avoid controversies,” Raut told mid-day.

Post the Uri attack, Raj Thackeray-led MNS and the Shiv Sena had demanded that Pakistani actors should not be allowed to work in Bollywood. Reacting to political reactions, on Friday, Salman Khan stated that art and terrorism shouldn’t be mixed. “There is a difference between terrorists and actors; Pak artistes come with permission and a visa issued by Government of India. I guess this will have some reaction, it would have been better if we tried to have peace,” Salman had said.
Raj retorted by saying, “Jawans are fighting for us at borders. What will happen if they decide to put down their weapons? Who’ll guard the borders? Salman Khan? Bollywood? These artistes [Salman Khan] should realise ‘Nation first’. If they have so many problems, we will ban their movies too.”

The Central Board of Film Certification Chief, Pahlaj Nihalani, spoke to us, saying, "This is not the time for entertainment. It is the time for being united for the nation. I wouldn't want to comment specifically on what a certain superstar said, but before we talk about how we target art and culture, let's take a moment to think about it pragmatically. I feel every citizen of Pakistan should be banned. The Government of India is gracious enough to give them work permits. But henceforth, there should be a clear stop from the Centre on this. Are our artistes allowed in Pakistan? Do all our films get official release there? Most of the time, movies are exported via Dubai and shown illegally there. We are fighting against terrorism; art and culture is not relevant at the moment when a bigger issue is staring us in the face. We as Indians must have one goal, one mission. A film releasing or not is secondary right now. We must follow the Government’s diktats, whatever they decide, unquestioningly.”

Though many came out in support of the superstar's vociferous views, his father decided to stay silent. “I am not interested in commenting on the deeds and misdeeds of my son,” he told us.

Tiger Shroff's 'Munna Michael' co-star Niddhi Agerwal made to sign no dating clause!

Now this one can reopen the 'sexism in Bollywood' debate once again, and rightly so. In the most bizarre diktat in recent times, Niddhi Agerwal, who makes her debut with Tiger Shroff in 'Munna Michael', has been asked to sign a no-dating clause until the film wraps up, and that extends beyond the limits of the sets. The dance drama went on floors last weekend and Nidhi joins the unit on Saturday.

Says Niddhi, "I had to read it [the contract] twice over to believe it, but I don't really have a problem. I understand that the intention is that they want 100 per cent dedication from me. Not like I have a life beyond work in any case. My understanding of it is that the makers have included the clause because dating a co-star has become an easy publicity exercise for production houses. It takes the focus away from the film. Now, I can put my phone away and practice for four hours without worrying about who's calling me. It is a matter of five-six months and I am okay with it."

Meanwhile, producer Viki Rajani tells us the clause is only for Niddhi while Tiger has been spared. "Tiger is already a star while this is Niddhi's launch film. She is a bright girl and we don't want her to get distracted. Sabbir (Khan, director) and I have seen real potential in her and this will do her good," he says. Isn't it unfair and rather sexist? Rajani says, "It's not like we made her sign [the contract] at gunpoint. She agreed to it. It's a big launch. She starts shooting on October 8 and will be done by February."

Arjun Rampal wraps up shooting for 'Daddy' with this amazing photo!

Mumbai: Actor Arjun Rampal has wrapped up shooting for the upcoming film "Daddy", reportedly based on the life of gangster Arun Gawli. 

Arjun on Wednesday shared a photograph of the film's clap-board,The film is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, who made his directorial debut with the feature-length documentary "John & Jane" in 2005. The film also won him National Film Award for Best First Non-Feature Film of a Director. He also made "Miss Lovely"

Arjun has two more films in his kitty. The "D-Day" actor will be soon seen sharing screen space with actress Vidya Balan in the second installment of the 2012 thriller film "Kahaani".

Mika springs a surprise on Harshi Mad

UK born singer-actress Harshi Mad has been making her presence felt in the music circuit in Mumbai. She has done over 1500 shows worldwide and recently, did playback singing with pop king, Mika Singh. Harshi was taken by surprise to get a call from Mika for his song, Raat Saturday Ki Hai, from the to-release film Love Day – Pyaar Ka Din starring Eijaaz Khan, Saahil Anand and Anant Mahadevan. Mika is known for his spontaneity and asked Harshi to show up for the recording and shoot the video impromptu.
"I thought I was a livewire, until I worked with Mika. He is a powerhouse performer. He has a million ideas, so he prefers not to brief his co-singers and performers ahead of time. He likes natural and honest performances," says Harshi.
While shooting, the crew got grooving to the song with Harshi and Mika taking centre stage. Harshi adds, "I am a party lover and enjoy dancing. Mika really makes the effort to ensure that everyone is comfortable, from the spot boy to make-up artist to dancers and his director. He shares a laugh with them and the shoot becomes fun."

Shah Rukh Khan plans to unveil 'Raees' trailer on 51st birthday

Shah Rukh Khan has big plans for his 51st birthday. According to a report by DNA, the actor-producer will release the trailer of his upcoming film, 'Raees' on the occasion, which falls on November 2.
'Raees' also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The trailer launch will happen at Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat.
There have been reports of Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' at the box-office on Republic Day 2017. The trailer of 'Kaabil' will reportedly open with with 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Shivaay'.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, 'Raees' is co-produced under Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's banner Red Chillies Entertainment and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Saiyami and Harsh underwent extensive training for Mirzya

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya marks the debut of Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.

Mirzya is based on the legend of Mirza-Sahiban, a popular Punjabi folklore.

The debutants had to go through an intense and extensive training for over a year before they could start shooting for the film.

Apart from physical transformation, Harshvardhan and Saiyami attended workshops and had to learn horse riding for the film.

The duo shifted base to Delhi where they would rigorously prep, right from starting their day at 6.30 am with horse riding, spending the afternoon at the acting workshop and again horse riding in the evening. Harsh also suffered injuries while learning horse riding. It took them 6 months only to start galloping properly and pick up the skill.

After completing his training period in Delhi, Harsh went to Seattle in the US and lived in a ranch on the outskirts of the city. He stayed there for over two months with 30 horses and learnt all the techniques associated with a horse rider.

After getting a knack of horse riding, Harsh went on to learning archery. The actor was required to perform mounted archery in Mirzya and so the actor went all out to master the skill.

The makers of the film were keen to have Harsh perform all the action on his own and he went on to learn everything from the scratch. 

Harsh and Saiyami additionally learnt bike riding for their characters too!

The debutants have definitely given all their blood and sweat for Mirzya. The duo has ignited good buzz around their pairing and the film which has been in talks. The music of Mirzya has gone off really well with audiences which brings uniqueness to the album.

The blockbuster team of Sultan, superstar Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar, come together once again for Yash Raj Films' Tiger Zinda Hai.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be back in Tiger Zinda Hai which is the sequel to YRF's blockbuster hit Ek Tha Tiger.
The film is slated for a Christmas 2017 release and the shoot will start in March 2017.

Salman Khan for questioning the campaign against Pakistani artistes working in India

Bollywood playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has criticised superstar Salman Khan for questioning the campaign against Pakistani artistes working in India. He also accused the actor of being "ashamed to show loyalty to India" and supporting terrorism.

Bhattacharya's comments have emerged a day after Salman expressed his views about the "ultimatum" issued by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and the "ban" by Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) on Pakistani artistes from working in Indian showbiz.

Salman said on Friday: "They are artistes. What do you think... Are artistes terrorists? They come to India with visa. Who gives them the visa? Our (Indian) government gives them visa. The government gives them work permit."

Bhattacharya on Saturday tweeted: "Pakistani and Indian artists have one thing common, both enjoy India's money, love, fame and both are anti-India anti-Indian Army #SalmanKhan. Fawad Khan shows true patriotism towards his country Pakistan, whilst Bollywood's Salman Khan is ashamed to show loyalty to India."
The singer also claimed Salman is busy shooting films with Pakistan talent, and doesn't pay any heed to the issues of the country.

He posted: "Super stars don't watch news of #UriAttack #Pakistan killing, shooting, butchering Indians, they are busy too.. shooting with Pakis".

When a social media user hailed his views, he went to dig into Salman's infamous 2002 hit-and-run case.

Bhattacharya posted: "Because of our law machinery, Salman Khan is roaming free and supporting terrorism."
MNS had issued a 48-hour ultimatum on September 23 to all Pakistani cine and television artistes to leave India. The ban came after the September 18 terror attack that killed 19 Indian soldiers in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir.

Then, IMPPA also announced it has decided to ban Pakistani artistes and technicians from working in India until the hostilities between the two countries subside.

Salman's views on the issue snowballed into a controversy with MNS President Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut condemning it.
Raut said that veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan should keep his son Salman under house arrest, adding that the Bollywood superstar "blabbers" because no one in his family has ever died for the country.

Thackeray said "these artistes (Salman) should realise 'Nation first'. If they have so many problems, we will ban their movies too".

In a new development, it was reported that all Indian channels were banned in Pakistan by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). A few cinema halls in Pakistan have already decided against releasing any Indian movies.

If reports are to be believed then they suggest that in the movie Priyanka will be seen playing a negative character villainous Victoria Leeds, which is a big-screen adaptation of the popular 1990s TV series of the same name.

Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch is set to release on 19 May, 2017.

On September 30, Salman Khan came out in support of Pakistani actors and said that they are artists and not terrorists.

Raj Thackeray-led MNS had issued an ultimatum to Pakistani artists and actors, including Fawad Khan, who is part of one of the productions under Salman's banner, and Ali Zafar, to leave India by September 25 or else they would be 'pushed out'.

Recently, concerts of Pakistani singers Shafqat Amanat Ali and Atif Aslam, scheduled in Bengaluru and Gurugram, respectively were also cancelled.

Furious Twitterati call Om Puri 'shameless' for insulting Indian martyrs

Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri faced Twitterati's wrath for insulting the martyrs by passing a 'shameful' comment on a television debate over the ban of Pakistani artists in India following Uri attack.
Om Puri stoked controversy by saying, "Who had asked the soldiers to join the army? Who told them to pick the weapons?"
Om Puri further said that India should prepare 15-20 human suicide bombers and send them to Pakistan for the blasts.
Om Puri went on to say, "Do you want India-Pakistan enmity to turn like Israel and Palestine, and fight for ages? India is home to crores of Muslims, there is no point in proving them for war."
He further said that that the Indo-Pak partition was not just division of countries, but it also divided families.
"Several Indians have their relatives staying across the border and vice-versa, how can they fight a war with their cross-border families," he said.
On being asked why is he supporting Pakistani actors, Om Puri said that if people really want to ban Pakistani artists, they must ask the Indian government to cancel their visas.

Radhika Apte reveals why her sex scene in 'Parched' was hilarious

Radhika Apte's lovemaking scenes from her latest release, 'Parched', are being marketed as porn, but she would rather not dwell on the negative buzz around the critically-acclaimed film. She terms her experience of filming the under-the-sheets action with Adil Hussain as a 'hilarious' affair, adding that the biggest challenge on set was not going nude, but finding a flesh-tint sock that covered Hussain's modesty.
"We kept cracking up all through. Your body is the last thing you are conscious about when shooting a sex scene. It was inside a cave and had we not found the sock, the shooting would have been delayed. The unit thought an erotic dance sequence was being shot," she says, giggling at the memory.

The dirty talking that preceded the scene was funnier, she says, adding, "Adil even blurted out, 'I am sorry if I get a hard-on and I am sorry if I don't'." The film's director, Linaa Yadav, along with choreographer Ashley Lobo executed the scene, Radhika says.

Why hadn't she discussed the 'fun' part of the 'controversial' scene earlier? She quips, "Those who raising eyebrows and rolling eyes would have never got the humour in this. People look at things as black and white. Unfortunately, everyone saw it from a unilinear perspective. They were either angry or sympathetic. Ask us, we have laughed throughout. It will be the most memorable scene ever for the amount we have laughed and for what we take away from it. I have been criticised and praised equally, but films are a learning process and that scene will be a milestone."
